Yes. Skills-based volunteering such as tutoring, mentoring, design or admin support can often be done remotely. Mention this in your volunteer application.
Yes. Ugo Impact Foundation (legal name: Dalington Ugo Impact Foundation Corporation) is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) charity, EIN 33-4453039, registered with the New York State Charities Bureau. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, and we send a receipt for every gift. Donors outside the U.S. should check the rules in their own country.
Our programs serve communities in Nigeria. The Foundation is registered in Nigeria, and in New York as a U.S. 501(c)(3) charity, which lets U.S. donors give tax-deductibly.
